1. Upon agreement with the quote provided, confirmation and agreement from all neighbouring parties is required prior us commencing any work.
2. The failure of neighbours to contribute towards the cost of fencing or comply with the Fencing Act, Invoices shall continue to be the responsibility of original client who initiated the contract
3. A 50% deposit is required to be paid by each of neighbouring parties who are sharing the costs.
4. Overdue payments may incur a 5% penalty for every 7-day period after the invoice date.
5. If payment is not received within 28 days of invoice date further legal action may be taken at the customers expense.
6. Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash.
7. All materials remain property of Podium Fences until full payment is received. Podium Fences reserves the right to enter client’s premises to remove any unpaid for materials from site
8. Invoices will be sent after work has been completed.
9. Please seek advice from your local council if permits are required and are to be obtained by the owners.
10. Customer to identify any underground obstructions (Gas, Water, Electric or nbn lines). Contractor not responsible for damage to any of the above without prior knowledge of their locations.
11. Power and water access need to be supplied by client.
12. Owners acknowledge and agree that timber is a natural product and is susceptible to warping, or cracking over time. Accordingly, the contractor cannot be held responsible to any changes of the condition of the timber, whatsoever arising.
13. Defects liability period is 90 days from work completion.
14. Work will be carried out according to the quote and any changes may incur additional costs.
15. All care but no responsibility is taken for damage to underground pipes, cables or damage to garden if not cleared from boundary line
16. No responsibility is taken if there are no survey pegs provided to indicate true boundary
17. The property needs to be cleared of personal items to provided suitable access to carry out works. If we are required to move your personal items further fees may apply.
18. At time of quote we do our best to allow for everything to be included in the total price. However, if underground obstacles occur once work commences such as; Large Rock, Tree roots and or concrete a rate of $80 per hour is charged for removal
19. We hold no responsibility for delays and any losses which may be incurred to you as a result of a delays which are not reasonably foreseeable such as; Bad weather, delay on 3^rd party supply and delivery of materials, Conflict, Sabotage, Natural Disaster. Thew booking will be rescheduled when able to be performed to the next available vacancy.
20. Photos taken of fences erected by Podium Fences could be used for promotional use. Photos will be carefully taken so minimal backyard/house is in the photo. Please advise us if you wish otherwise.
